Gleeson welcomes Sheffield Hallam University students to ‘The Homesteads’ in Goldthorpe
On Tuesday 28th January 2025, Gleeson was delighted to welcome students from Sheffield Hallam University’s Project Management course to its new development in Goldthorpe.
The Homesteads, which is Gleeson's latest development in Goldthorpe, Barnsley is set to deliver 68 new highly affordable, quality homes. Under the guidance of Gleeson's Site Manager, Dean Sidebottom, and Predevelopment Director, Russell Thompson, the students had the opportunity to see how their theoretical knowledge is applied in real-world scenarios.
During the visit, Gleeson provided insights on topics such as project planning, forecasting, stock management, and people management. The site tour provided the students with the opportunity to witness the journey of a live development, from road construction to homes ready for the second fix.
