Gleeson welcomes Councillors to new site in Bradford
Local Councillors for Holmewood and Bierley Ward, Matt Edwards and Iain McInnes, recently visited Gleeson Homes' Wood Hall Chase development in Bradford to see first-hand how the development is helping to deliver much-needed new homes for local residents and supporting investment in the city's housing market.
Located in Bierley, Wood Hall Chase is a contemporary development of two, three and four-bedroom homes that combines a semi-rural setting with excellent transport links to Bradford, Leeds and the wider West Yorkshire region. The development benefits from easy access to the M606 and M62, while Low Moor railway station is just a short distance away.
Bradford presents an important location for Gleeson, with nearby developments including Northbeck Grange and Squirrel Fold, where Gleeson is proud to be delivering over 300 additional high-quality homes in total.
During the visit at Wood Hall Chase, Cllr Edwards and McInnes met with representatives from Gleeson Homes to learn more about the development's progress and its role in providing high-quality, energy-efficient homes for the local community.
All homes across the development are built with a wide range of energy-saving features, allowing customers to benefit from lower energy bills. With more than 67% of homes in Bradford currently holding an EPC rating below C, the new homes at Wood Hall Chase have been designed to achieve an EPC B rating, helping residents benefit from lower energy bills, reduced running costs and more sustainable living.
Wood Hall Chase is also the latest example of Gleeson's successful partnership with Lloyds Living. Together, the organisations are delivering 58 professionally managed rental homes at the development, helping to address growing demand for high-quality rental properties across Bradford.
"It was great to visit Wood Hall Chase and see the investment being made in new housing here in Bierley. What stood out to me is the focus on energy efficiency. The homes being built here will mean lower bills for families for years to come, while being better for our environment.”
"We were delighted to welcome Cllr Edwards to Wood Hall Chase and showcase the positive impact this development is having in Bradford. We are proud to be delivering high-quality homes that provide residents with greater energy efficiency, lower running costs and a connected community. Together, we're helping to meet local housing demand while creating sustainable communities for the future."
Wood Hall Chase forms part of Gleeson's ongoing commitment to building exceptional value, high-quality homes in locations where they are needed most, helping more people access suitable housing while supporting the long-term growth and sustainability of local communities.
