Gleeson Homes appoints new Land Director for its Midlands region
Gleeson Homes, the affordable high-quality housebuilder, is delighted to announce the appointment of Janet Stirzaker as Land Director for the Midlands region.
With over 15 years’ experience in the construction industry, Janet has fantastic exposure in supporting housebuilders to expand and strengthen their land pipeline. Janet joins Gleeson from her previous role of Land and Partnerships Director at Keepmoat Homes, where she had been Land and Partnership Director covering the East Midlands.
In her previous role at Keepmoat Homes, Janet played an integral part in growing the region by delivering on key Land and Partnership schemes. Examples of this include Gedling Colliery, a 1050-unit site in partnership with Homes England as well as 370 new homes at the former Rolls Royce site in Derby in partnership with Derby City Council and Rolls Royce.
As part of her new role, Janet will be responsible for growing the regions land pipeline in support of Gleeson’s ambitious growth targets. As an established region for Gleeson, the Midlands team has proven to be successful in delivering affordable new homes for first-time buyers, movers, downsizers across the North Midlands and into Lincolnshire. However, in line with Gleeson’s ambitious growth targets, the region has exciting plans to expand and grow the business to the south and west of the region, including Derbyshire, Nottingham, Leicestershire and Staffordshire, of which Janet will be leading.
