Gleeson Homes and Blocc Interiors celebrate local talent at Lyons Edge development
Gleeson Homes, in collaboration with Blocc Interiors, proudly announced the successful conclusion of an inspiring art competition held in partnership with Hetton Lyons Primary School.
This initiative formed part of the launch of the new Lyons Edge development in South Hetton, whereby three new show homes have recently opened to the public.
In October 2024, Gleeson Homes and Blocc Interiors collaborated with Hetton Lyons Primary School to host an art competition for the new Lyons Edge development. The competition invited schoolchildren to create A4 or A3 artwork based on a jungle theme, intended for display in the show homes’ jungle themed bedroom.
Three standout pieces were selected and are now proudly exhibited in the show homes, with all participants receiving prizes for their efforts. The project offered a fantastic opportunity for Gleeson to connect with the local community, demonstrating its commitment to community engagement initiatives within the areas in which Gleeson is building.

The unique artwork is now proudly on display in the show homes at Lyons Edge, with visitors able to experience the vibrant and imaginative contributions of the local students.
