Gleeson celebrates three wins in prestigious industry awards
Gleeson is thrilled to announce that three site managers have been honoured with a prestigious NHBC Pride in the Job Quality Award 2026, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and high standards of build quality.
Winners of the 2026 award include Frank Majer, Senior Site Manager at Rainsborough Park in Knottingley, Chris Barker, Senior Site Manager at Bluebell Court in Barnsley and Dave Harris, Senior Site Manager at Middlestone Meadows in Spennymoor, who is celebrating his second Pride in the Job award since joining Gleeson.
This builds on last year’s success, when two Gleeson site managers received the accolade.
The prestigious awards hosted by the NHBC recognise exceptional site managers who achieve the highest standards in construction, with the winners being chosen from thousands of entrants from across the UK.
There is a rigorous judging process, with assessment across six key areas: consistency, attention to detail, leadership, interpretation of drawings and specifications, technical expertise, and health and safety. Thousands of inspections are carried out across 7,500 sites to determine the winners, who represent the top 6% of UK site managers.
“Receiving this award recognises the dedication, excellence and consistently high standards demonstrated by our teams. Pride in the Job highlights exactly what it takes to be a top Site Manager and reinforces our long-term commitment to delivering the highest quality homes for our customers. This achievement is very well-deserved and reflects the commitment and passion shown by Frank, Chris and Dave as well as the wider teams across our winning sites. We wish them all the best as we look ahead to the next stage of the competition at the regional award ceremonies later this year.”
Gleeson extends its congratulations to Frank, Chris, Dave and the wider team who remain committed to delivering exceptional, high-quality homes across Yorkshire and the North East.
The Quality Award winners will automatically be put forward to the next stage of the competition – the NHBC’s Seal of Excellence and Regional Awards, which will be announced in the autumn at the regional award ceremonies.
