After her three children had flown the nest, Kerry knew it was time for a fresh start. Having previously lived in a larger family home, she was ready to downsize – but without compromising on space, comfort or practicality.
Now settled into her new Gleeson home at Bracken Park, Kerry has found exactly what she was looking for.
“I divorced a number of years ago and when my children flew the nest, I knew it was time to downsize for me and my little dog, Lily,” she explains. “But working from home meant finding the right size house could be a challenge. I needed something that still had space for visitors, a comfortable office area, and a nice little garden for Lily.”
Kerry chose the Keady house type, quickly falling in love with its layout and generous proportions. “I fell in love with the large bedrooms, especially the master with the en-suite. The layout just felt perfect and met all my requirements.”

Since moving in, Kerry has quickly settled into her new home and community. “Despite the houses still being built around me, it’s really peaceful. I felt at home from the moment I moved in. The development is on the edge of town and has such a calm feel to it.”Equally important has been the sense of community she’s found at Bracken Park. “I have the loveliest neighbours. Everyone takes pride in their homes, and the estate is really well presented. It’s a wonderful community that I feel lucky to be part of.”
