Our Smooth Move scheme is designed to take the stress and hassle out of selling your existing home whilst saving you some of the cost too.

How does Smooth Move work?

When you take advantage of the Smooth Move scheme, you will be referred to The New Homes Group, the UK’s leading assisted move provider. The New Homes Group will arrange for up to three local estate agents to value your home. The valuation is free and their advice is independent. As part of the process, you’ll need to provide an Energy Performance Certificate; this is to be paid for by you and is non-refundable.

Once you’re happy with the agreed valuation, two local estate agents will be chosen to market your home and The New Homes Group will work closely with the chosen agents to monitor performance to try and ensure a speedy sale.

While this is ongoing, we can’t hold a plot for you, but rest assured, our team will be on hand to help you reserve a Gleeson home once your existing home is under offer.

Once it is sold, and you have reserved your dream Gleeson home, The New Homes Group will help with processing your sale, and managing your chain.

Following that, when you have legally completed on your new Gleeson home, our team will liaise with The New Homes Group and pay up to £4,000 of your estate agent fees*.
