Local Councillor unveils new show homes in Gosberton
Gleeson Homes, the high-quality, affordable housebuilder, has celebrated the official launch of its new show homes and sales centre at Saddler Fields in Gosberton. The launch marks an exciting milestone for the Midlands region, with Saddler Fields becoming Gleeson’s first-ever development in Gosberton.
To commemorate the occasion, Chair of South Holland District Council, Councillor Jan Whitbourn, accompanied by Councillor Elizabeth Snead, attended the official opening and unveiled Gleeson’s three show homes at the development.
Gleeson specialises in building highly affordable homes with a great specification across the North of England and the Midlands, with a focus on creating safe, sustainable communities that support local regeneration, benefit the local economy and deliver a lasting positive impact.
A key part of Gleeson’s mission is making home ownership achievable for everyone. To support this, it ensures that a couple earning the National Living Wage would be able to afford a home at the development – an approach that underpins every site and reflects the company’s commitment to affordability.
Alongside homes available on the open market, Gleeson is also offering a range of affordable home-buying schemes at Saddler Fields, designed to support a broader range of buyers (subject to eligibility criteria). Through the Heylo Shared Ownership scheme, a two-bedroom home at Saddler Fields is available from £124,998 for a 50% share, helping more people take their first steps into home ownership.
Gleeson has also sold and completed two properties through the First Homes scheme, both now owned by young, single purchasers who were living within the South Holland district.
As part of its community engagement programme, Gleeson recently supported the refurbishment of the hall at Gosberton’s Youth Centre and used the space to warmly introduce Saddler Fields to local residents ahead of the sales centre opening. Initiatives like this, along with meeting local Councillors, continue to strengthen relationships and deepen community engagement, reinforcing Gleeson’s commitment to creating thriving neighbourhoods and delivering lasting benefits for local people.
The recently launched development will deliver 92 new 1-, 2-, 3- and 4-bedroom homes, including bungalows and apartments, each thoughtfully designed with private front and rear gardens and dedicated parking. In addition, every home at the development will include an electric vehicle (EV) charge and an air source heat pump, providing a more energy-efficient method of heating and helping customers reduce energy use and running costs.
Show homes at Saddler Fields include the Glin, a 3-bedroom semi-detached home, the Clifden, a 3-bedroom detached home and the Dalkey, a 4-bedroom detached home.
