Gleeson places third in the Women in Property Yorkshire & North East Netball Tournament
Gleeson Homes proudly participated in the Women in Property Yorkshire & North East Netball Tournament in Sheffield on Wednesday 8th January 2025.
The event, which returned for a seventh year, took place at the impressive English Institute of Sport in Sheffield, located next to the expanding Olympic Legacy Park. During the tournament, the team had the opportunity to network with like-minded professionals whilst enjoying some healthy competition and sportsmanship.
With a total of seven teams participating in the friendly tournament, team Gleeson was delighted to place third overall, receiving their very first Women in Property Netball tournament trophy.
“We are extremely proud of our team who showed great sportsmanship and commitment. Having never played with each other until the tournament, and most not playing since school, coming third place was a fantastic result! The tournament was a wonderful opportunity for networking and building connections within the industry. A huge thank you to the organisers, we had a great time and can't wait for next year!”
Well done to Emily Barratt, Fiona Beddoes, Bethany Marshall, Abbie Townsend, Georgina Akeroyd, Chloe Steele and Isobel Buffin who all represented Gleeson Homes at the event.
