Gleeson Homes launches First Homes Scheme to support first-time buyers
Gleeson Homes, the affordable, high-quality housebuilder, is pleased to announce the launch of the First Homes Scheme across several of its regions.
The scheme is designed to help first-time buyers purchase their first home at a significantly reduced price. Through First Homes, selected new-build homes are available to eligible first-time buyers at a 30% discount off market value. The percentage discount will apply to that home forever, meaning aspiring homeowners can take advantage of the scheme for many years to come.
The scheme represents part of Gleeson’s broader mission to deliver affordable, high-quality homes across the country to make homeownership accessible for everyone, particularly first-time buyers.
Currently, the First Homes Scheme is available at the following Gleeson developments across the Midlands and North of England
- Birkwood in Boston
- Bluebell Court in Barnsley
- Saddler Fields in Spalding
- Bracken Park in Louth
The scheme is also coming soon to the following developments:
- Cooper’s Meadow in Hunmanby
- Fawns Wood in Carlisle
- Hawthorn Fields in Lincoln
- Poppy Fields in Horncastle
- The Homesteads in Barnsley
“At Gleeson, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to own a high-quality home that they can afford. The First Homes Scheme is a vital step toward making that a reality for more people, helping first-time buyers get on the property ladder in their local communities.”
Buyers must meet eligibility criteria, including being first-time buyers with a joint gross income of up to £80,000 per year. Local authority criteria may also apply. Gleeson strongly recommends seeking independent financial and legal advice before applying.
