NHBC Pride in the Job Quality Award

Gleeson celebrates success in prestigious industry awards

Gleeson is thrilled to announce that two site managers have been honoured with a prestigious NHBC Pride in the Job Quality Award 2024, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and high standards of build quality.

Winners of the 2025 award include Richard Harris, Site Manager at Bracken Park in Louth, and Paul Jackson, Senior Site Manager at Gleeson’s Rhodes Point development in Worksop, who is celebrating two consecutive award wins.

This builds on last year’s success, when two Gleeson site managers received the accolade, alongside Gleeson’s first-ever Seal of Excellence Award.

Now in its 45th year, the prestigious awards hosted by the NHBC recognise exceptional site managers who achieve the highest standards in construction, with the winners being chosen from thousands of entrants from across the UK. Judging is rigorous, with assessment across six key areas: consistency, attention to detail, leadership, interpretation of drawings and specifications, technical expertise, and health and safety. Thousands of inspections are carried out to determine the 450 winners from a field of circa 8,200 sites, representing the top 5% of UK site managers.

“Receiving this award is an accolade to the commitment, excellence, and high standards our teams set out to achieve. The work of our teams not only enhances the quality of our homes but also positively impacts our customers' lives, creating thriving communities. This recognition is thoroughly deserved and a testament to Paul and Richard’s consistent hard work, and we are exceptionally proud of them and the teams working across both winning sites.”

Wayne Morris, Group Construction Director at Gleeson Homes

Everyone at Gleeson extends their congratulations to Paul, Richard, and the wider team who remain committed to delivering exceptional, high-quality homes.

The Quality Award winners will automatically be put forward to the next stage of the competition – the NHBC’s Seal of Excellence and Regional Awards, which will be announced in the autumn at the regional award ceremonies.
