With 12 categories in total, the awards celebrate the enterprise, leadership, resilience, social impact and all-round excellence of financial leaders and their teams in Northern businesses over the past 12 months.
Stefan Allanson, who has been in position as Chief Financial Officer at MJ Gleeson for over 8 years, has been nominated and successfully shortlisted in the ‘Best Northern Finance Director of a Limited Company over £100 million’ category.
The North of England punches above its weight with a depth of finance talent to be envied across the country. So, I feel very honoured to be shortlisted for this prestigious award. It’s currently a tough time to be a CFO in the housing sector. Yet, we deliver greater economic and social benefit than almost any other sector. Navigating a high-growth, listed plc through these difficult times requires a range of skills, a clear set of values and a great deal of tenacity and I try and live up to these every day.
Winners will be revealed at the awards dinner on the 19th of October, held at the Radisson Edwardian in Manchester.
