How does the Key Worker scheme work?
In recognition of the important contributions key workers make to society, Gleeson has implemented an incentive of £1,500 towards those finishing touches to personalise your new home.
If you’re a key worker and considering taking your first steps onto the property ladder, or planning your next move, we will give you £1,500 towards additional extras to further personalise your new home. Which industries qualify me for the scheme?
Key workers, often referred to as essential workers, are individuals who provide vital services to society, such as healthcare professionals, teachers, police officers, firefighters, and other public sector employees.
This is available exclusively to key workers within the specified industries highlighted below.
This additional incentive is available to use in conjunction with many of our other exciting offers to help you move.
To benefit from our key worker scheme, you must work in one of the following industries:
- NHS
- Police Force
- Fire Service
- Environmental Service
- Education
- National Highway
- Ministry of Justice
- Ministry of Defence
- Prison and Probation Service
- Local Authority
How do I apply?

This offer is available from 1st July 2023 and is exclusive to key workers who are included within specified industries, subject to lender conditions. If this exclusive key worker offer is used in conjunction with another Gleeson offer, the purchaser(s) must contribute a minimum of 5% deposit to qualify. Gleeson’s contribution will be agreed upon reservation, with the maximum value of this offer being £1,500. This offer will be provided in the form of a voucher to be used towards options and extras. Options and extras are subject to availability and build stage. The key worker offer is available per plot, not per named purchaser and subject to contract. This offer excludes veterans. Gleeson reserves the right to amend, alter, or withdraw the promotion at any time. This offer does not apply to shared ownership or discount market sale properties and cannot be used in conjunction with any other Gleeson offer or incentive unless specifically authorised by Gleeson in its absolute discretion (and subject to lender approval).
