Where Style Meets Comfort: Introducing The Keady Show Home

We are proud to introduce our stunning 3 bedroom Keady show home, designed by the award-winning Edward Thomas Interiors at Mariners View in Hornsea. This brand-new show home has just been entered into  the 2025 First-Time Buyer Awards ,where it will compete in the ‘Best Show Home’ category, which seeks to uncover innovative design that first-time buyers can realistically recreate.

Edward Thomas Interiors brought their visionary design to life, creating a space that is both inviting and inspiring for prospective homeowners. The Keady show home incorporates several notable trends in its decoration, furniture, and styling, making it a true masterpiece.

The 3 bedroom semi-detached home is an ideal choice for first-time buyers and growing families. The downstairs of this popular house style boasts a modern kitchen-diner, with French doors that open into the garden space as well as a separate, cosy living room. Its central staircase leads to the upstairs floor, with three spacious bedrooms, including a master bedroom and ensuite, as well as a family bathroom.

We spoke to Sam Jones, Digital Account Executive at Edward Thomas Interiors, who spearheaded this design with his team:

“The brief for the Keady was to focus on first-time buyers, couples and young professionals who want to enjoy city living in a coastal location. We imagined the owners of this show home as very trend-aware; they regularly scroll TikTok and Instagram for inspiration and have clear design goals. “Using Mocha Mousse, the Pantone Colour of the Year as the starting point, we developed a contemporary and memorable design. Our goal was to make design features such as paint techniques easy to replicate using resources like YouTube, and Pinterest tutorials. Additionally, our furniture and styling choices are primarily sourced from high-street and online retailers offering affordable ranges for first-time buyers.”

Pantone Colour of the Year – Mocha Mousse

One of the standout features of the Keady show home is the use of Pantone's Colour of the Year, Mocha Mousse. This warm, earthy tone adds a touch of sophistication and cosiness to the space, creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Curves and Waves

The design of the Keady show home embraces the trend of curves and waves, reflected in the furniture shapes and paint effects in the kitchen and master bedroom. These elements add a sense of fluidity and movement to the rooms, enhancing the overall aesthetic and creating a harmonious environment.

Stripes

Stripes are another key trend featured in the Keady show home, particularly in the living room paint design. This bold choice adds a dynamic and modern touch to the space, making it both visually appealing and stylish.
