Alfreton train station is two miles away, with direct services to Nottingham, Leeds, Manchester and Liverpool Lime Street, while there is also a bus station in Pinxton.

There is a wide range of high street shops, pubs, restaurants and bars all within a mile of Manor Fields, while the East Midlands Designer Outlet Village is only a mile and a half away.
