Mareham le Fen benefits from a regular bus service, linking the village with Horncastle and Boston. The nearest bus stop is just a short walk from the development entrance. Boston train station is a 25 minute drive from Birkwood and provides direct services to Skegness, Sleaford, Grantham and Nottingham. The development is located off the A155, with the centre of Horncastle a 15 minute drive away via the A153. The larger towns of Woodhall Spa and Louth are both within a 35 minute drive of Birkwood.
