When Conal and Emma decided it was time to purchase their dream first home, they had a clear vision of what they were looking for: a perfect balance of affordability, location, and functionality. After exploring various options, they chose a new build home with Gleeson, and here's why!
Before buying their Gleeson home, Conal and Emma were renting a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment for £700 per month. The size of their Gleeson home was comparable to their rented apartment, however, the benefits of owning their property in a semi-rural location with a garden were too good to pass up. "We wanted to invest in ourselves and buy our own property!" Conal shared.
Conal and Emma's journey from initially hearing about Gleeson, to receiving the keys to their new home was incredibly smooth. The entire process took approximately 40 days, with the couple reserving their home in November 2024 and completing the purchase by December 20th, 2024, just in time for Christmas. "Our happiness and quality of life have changed. We have a home, a quiet place to relax at the end of a busy week. We've also got a place to raise a family, which is our next milestone." With cousins and in-laws also living in Gleeson homes in nearby developments, the sense of community has only strengthened their satisfaction with their decision.
Conal and Emma opted for several upgrades from Gleeson's optional extras range, including carpets, tiling, vinyl flooring, and boiler housing to add their own personal touch to their home.
