Gleeson’s Cumbria charity golf event raises thousands of pounds for The Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity
Gleeson Homes, the high-quality affordable housebuilder, recently held its regional charity golf day at the Penrith Golf Club in aid of The Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity; Gleeson’s official corporate charity partner for 2024.
The Lighthouse Charity is the only charity that provides emotional, physical, and financial wellbeing support to the construction community and families, aligning perfectly with Gleeson’s mission and values.
The charity golf day successfully raised £4,427.70 in aid of The Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity thanks to the support and donations from suppliers of the wider Gleeson network, as well as staff members from Gleeson’s regional office in Penrith. Fundraising activities on the day included a silent auction as well as cash and card donations from those in attendance.
