Gleeson Homes appoints new Group Construction Director
Gleeson Homes, the affordable high-quality housebuilder, is delighted to announce the appointment of Wayne Morris as Group Construction Director.
In his new role, Wayne will focus on optimising the construction of Gleeson’s homes, ensuring high standards in build quality, safety and customer service. He will work with regional teams to streamline construction schedules, improve operational efficiency across Gleeson’s construction, commercial and technical teams. Under his leadership, Gleeson aims to consistently deliver high-quality and affordable new-build homes for Its customers.
With over 20 years of experience working for Redrow Homes and Barratt Homes, Wayne brings a wealth of knowledge in driving excellence in construction and build quality. During his tenure at Redrow Homes, Wayne served as Construction Director for Redrow Yorkshire and Operations Director for Redrow Lancashire. Under his leadership, in the last year alone, the division achieved an HBF customer care score of over 98% and won multiple awards including Health and Safety Division of the Year, five Pride in the Job awards, and two Seals of Excellence.
Wayne’s appointment is indicative of Gleeson Homes’ continued commitment to building homes to the highest standards, whilst meeting growing demand for affordable housing across the North of England and Midlands. By leveraging Wayne’s management and industry expertise, the company is well-positioned to achieve its medium-term goal of building 3,000 homes per year.
