Woodland Court is located less than a three minute drive from the A1, allowing commuters to access Pontefract in approximately 20 minutes and Doncaster in less than 25 minutes. The A638 also links Upton with nearby Wakefield. The village benefits from regular bus services, which links Upton to South Elmsall, Wakefield, Castleford and Pontefract. South Elmsall Station is just over three miles away and provides direct services to Doncaster and Leeds. Additionally, Moorthorpe Station is less than a 10 minute drive away and also offers direct services to Leeds, as well as Sheffield. 



Upton Primary School (rated Good by Ofsted) is just over half a mile from Woodland Court. Secondary education is provided by Minsthorpe Community College in nearby South Elmsall, approximately a five minute from the development.
